Yet another mag cover for Beyonce, this time the August/September issue of Complex Magazine.
There’s just no stopping Beyoncé. 4 isn’t quite blazing up the charts the way her past albums did (it’s nothing releasing a great single like Party or Countdown won’t fix), but Bey isn’t letting the slight setback keep her down. She’s continuing her journey down the promotional trail, appearing on the cover of the August/September issue of Complex Magazine.
Whatever her album might or might not be doing in sales, Beyoncé has been killing the editorial game as of late. Her Dazed & Confused cover was one of my all time fave mag covers from her, and now this Complex cover easily earns a spot on my personal ‘best of’ list.
Fronting the men’s lifestyle magazine, Bey flaunts her amazing figure in a pair of teeny tiny hotpants by Yigal Azrouël, a jeweled Armani Privé statement necklace, and a cobalt blue and black striped Norma Kamali striped crop top. If the top looks rings a bell, it’s because Rihanna rocked it when she kicked off The Today Show’s summer concert series.
It’s a great little top, that you can get directly from the Norma Kamali e-store for $525. Throughout the rest of the editorial spread, Beyonce alternates between a vintage Versace dress, and a tank top/leather shorts ensemble courtesy of Brian Lichtenberg and Kevork Kiledjian respectively.
