AMY Winehouses grieving family yesterday began clearing the house where she died then gave her clothes to stunned fans.

Heartbroken dad Mitch, 60, told them: This is what she would have wanted.

Mitch and Amys mum, Janis, are thought to have visited the bedroom where the singers body was found on Saturday.

The stars dad and her boyfriend, Reg Traviss, 35, later gave out armfuls of her possessions including spectacles.

Mitch, who had a pair of his daughters ballet pumps in his back pocket, told fans: These are Amys T-shirts.

‘Jeopardy!’ host injured chasing hotel room burglar

San Francisco — A woman accused of stealing cash and other items from “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek’s San Francisco hotel room was scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Lucinda Moyers, 56, of San Francisco, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of felony burglary and receiving stolen property, said San Francisco police Lt. Troy Dangerfield.

The 71-year-old Trebek said he snapped his Achilles tendon while running after a woman who he says stole cash, a bracelet and other items from his room around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Trebek, who has hosted the syndicated quiz show “Jeopardy!” since 1984, is scheduled to have surgery Friday and is expected to be in a cast for six weeks. <

Julia Roberts ad banned in Britain

LONDON (AP) — Britain’s advertising standards council banned two makeup advertisements featuring actress Julia Roberts and model Christy Turlington on Wednesday, ruling the ads — which used digitally altered photographs — were misleading.

The Advertising Standards Authority found that the airbrushed images used by L’Oreal in magazine ad campaigns exaggerated the results women could expect from using the beauty products.

The watchdog said the ads could no longer be used.

The decision was seen as a step forward in an ongoing campaign to limit the retouching of photos in beauty-related ads in Britain.

No Marine Corps Ball for Johansson

– Scarlett Johansson became the latest celebrity to be invited to a Marine Corps Ball when Sgt. Dustin L. Williams sent the actress a video invitation via YouTube, FOXNews reported Thursday.

Johansson, 26, who starred in “Lost in Translation” and “Iron Man 2,” has a previous engagement and is unable to attend the event.

“I feel incredibly honored to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams. Not only does Sgt. Williams deserve recognition for his bravery, selflessness and dedication to the United States and its people, but he also displays a cheeky talent for film making,” the actress said in a statement.

“Unfortunately due to priormitments I will not be able to attend the Ball with you this year but I am sending you a case of Moet & Chandon with gratitude.
