“Jersey Shore” has just expanded from reality TV phenomenon into reality TV franchise
MTV announced today that it has greenlighted two spinoffs of its enormously successful series about creepin’ and heavy drinking
The first will focus on the lives of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley when they’re not sharing a vacation house with a bunch of guidos and guidettes The series is currently untitled, as is the second spinoff, which will follow a similar template but will track the off-“Shore” experiences of Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio
“We’re excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships,” says Chris Linn, MTV’s executive vice president of programming, in a news release
