Grapevine: Posse blames talent for attacks
After the attacks of Tila Tequila and Method Man during last year’s “Gathering of the Juggalos” festival, you’d think security would be beefed up during this year’s event, Aug. 11-14 in Cave-In-Rock, Ill. But according to TMZ, Violent J from the Insane Clown Posse (the group behind the annual festival) is instead booking a small group of private security guards to work the event. ICP said that the “talent was to blame for last year’s violence because they incited the crowd while on stage,” reports TMZ. Violent J said this year’s festival lineup, which includes Charlie Sheen , MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice , have “mad respect” for the juggalos and won’t make the same mistake.
Comedic actor Chris Tucker will embark on a 20-date stand-up tour. Tucker’s Detroit show will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Fox Theatre, 2211 Woodward. Tickets are $45.50, $55.50 and $75.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. For tickets, call (800) 745-3000 or visit Ticketmaster.com.

Actress Kate Hudson gave birth to an as-yet unnamed boy Saturday, reports People. It is Hudson’s first child with fiance Matthew Bellamy of the band Muse. Hudson also has a 7-year-old son from her marriage to singer Chris Robinson .
